366 New Projects in India: Accelerating Growth Across Key Sectors
India’s infrastructure and industrial landscape continues to thrive in 2025, powered by an influx of new projects that span renewable energy, transport, construction, and manufacturing. The latest developments highlight the government’s and private sector’s unified push to build a future-ready India.
In the energy space, multiple solar initiatives are taking shape — from 3.0 MWp rooftop solar installations along the Delhi–Meerut corridor to the 350 kW plant at Samba Military Station and 500 kW at Mamun Military Station. SJVN is also inviting bids for 600 MW wind projects, while Suzlon secured an 838 MW order from Tata Power Renewable, reinforcing India’s clean energy ambitions. The 25 MW NGEL solar project in Bhuj and 200 MW wind project tender by NLC India further signal momentum toward achieving national renewable targets.
Infrastructure development is equally dynamic. AAI’s ₹179.47 crore Shillong Airport expansion, BMC’s JVLR underpass in Mumbai, and flyover construction at Hyderabad are reshaping urban mobility. NHAI’s goal to complete key highway stretches by December 2025 and the regional ring road in Hyderabad underline the pace of India’s highway modernization under Bharatmala. Meanwhile, the Coimbatore 24/7 water supply project and Dwarka’s upcoming water plant are improving urban sustainability.
The industrial and manufacturing front is also vibrant. Ester Industries’ ₹1,600 crore investment in Gujarat, Happy Forgings’ ₹1,000 crore expansion in Punjab, and Adani Enterprises’ Kedarnath ropeway project demonstrate investor confidence in India’s industrial ecosystem. Additionally, Azad Engineering’s new Hyderabad facility and Panasonic’s manufacturing unit in India reaffirm the Make-in-India momentum.
Healthcare and social infrastructure remain vital, with hospital projects in Bhubaneswar, Rajkot, and Patna advancing swiftly. Group housing projects in Punjab and Chandauli and Hero Realty’s Mohali land acquisition reflect continued real estate activity.
Together, these new projects in India signify strong growth across every vertical—building a more resilient, sustainable, and inclusive economy for the future.
