Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL)

Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has recently laid the keel of India’s largest Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD), DCI Dredge Godavari. Built for the Dredging Corporation of India in collaboration with Royal IHC, Netherlands, this 127-meter-long vessel will have a hopper capacity of 12,000 m³. Once commissioned, it will be the most sophisticated and technologically advanced dredger ever built in India, significantly boosting DCI’s capacity to enhance access to all major ports across the country.
