Von Wellx Lays Foundation for New Shoe Plant in YEIDA

German shoe brand Von Wellx Germany has begun construction of a new footwear manufacturing facility in Sector 29 of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) area. The plant, covering 2.5 acres and costing around Rs 300 crore, will have an annual production capacity of over four million pairs. The company also plans to set up a large ancillary industry in the region to produce components like outsoles, insoles, interlinings, and other non-leather raw materials.
