The development plan for Gorakhpur Airport in Uttar Pradesh includes the expansion of the civil enclave and associated services, such as the apron and taxiway. The proposed terminal building will cover 62,000 square meters and consist of two-and-a-half floors, featuring distinct levels for Departures and Arrivals. This expansion is designed to accommodate up to 2,500 passengers during peak hours, with an expected annual capacity of 5.3 million passengers.
