Tata Power wins ERES-XXXIX power transmission project in Odisha
REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL)
REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL) has awarded Tata Power the ERES-XXXIX Power Transmission project for green hydrogen infrastructure in Odisha. Scheduled for commercial operation by December 31, 2027, the project will run for 35 years, with Tata Power responsible for annual transmission charges of Rs.2.9 billion. Key components include constructing 2 x 1500 MVA, 765/400 kV GIS substations at Gopalpur and building a 190 km, 765 kV double-circuit transmission line from Angul to Gopalpur, along with a 12 km, 400 kV line connecting to the OPTCL substation.
