Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL)

The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) has awarded a total of 1,650 MW of wind-solar hybrid power projects to JSW Neo Energy, Tata Power Renewable Energy, Avaada Energy, and Juniper Green Energy. JSW Neo secured 600 MW, Tata Power 400 MW, Avaada 500 MW, and Juniper Green 150 MW, with bids won at Rs.3.60 per kWh. The auction initially targeted 1,150 MW but was increased to 1,650 MW under the greenshoe option.
