Amara Raja to Build Gigafactory in Telangana
Amara Raja Batteries Limited
Amara Raja Energy & Mobility is developing a Gigacorridor in Divitipalli, Mahbubnagar district, Telangana, for battery pack and cell manufacturing. The facility aims to achieve a combined capacity of 5GWh for battery packs and 16GWh for cells by 2029, serving both domestic and international markets. The Giga Corridor which is spread across 260 acres of land will entail an investment of Rs 9,500 crore till 2031.
