Jindal Saw Limited is seeking environmental clearance for the proposed expansion of its plant in Samaghogha Village, Mundra Taluk, Kutch District, Gujarat. The expansion includes increasing the production capacity by up to 20% for various units: the blast furnace capacity will increase from 580,000 TPA to 696,000 TPA, the Ductile Iron (DI) pipe plant from 580,000 TPA to 696,000 TPA, and the sinter plant from 1,040,000 TPA to 1,248,800 TPA.
