Gujarats largest waste-to-energy plant, a 15 MW facility near Piplaj village, Ahmedabad, was recently inaugurated to convert solid waste into electricity. Built through a Public Private Partnership (PPP) at ?375 crore, the facility can process around 1,000 metric tonnes of waste daily.
