Environmental clearance is sought for the proposed expansion cum modification of existing steel plant by increasing sponge iron plant capacity from 1,77,000 TPA to 5,27,505 TPA, increasing Rolling Mill capacity from 450 TPD to 1000 TPD, installing new patra mill of 100 TPD, installing new 2 X 9 MVA Ferro-Alloys Plant, modifying pellet plant from 2 X 0.6 MTPA to 0.8 MTPA and increasing of Captive Power Plant from 27 MW to 47 MW. The unit is located at IKRA village, Paschim Bardhaman District, West Bengal.
