Environmental clearance is sought for the establishment of a steel plant at Patarapali, Kotarliya, and Siyarpali villages, Raigarh Tehsil, District Chhattisgarh. The project includes: I/O Beneficiation Plant (1.7 MTPA), Pellet Plant (1.2 MTPA), Coal Gasifier for Pellet (45,000 NM³/Hr.), Sinter Plant (1.2 MTPA), Coke Oven Units (0.5 MTPA), Blast Furnace (0.85 MTPA), Ductile Iron Pipe Plant (0.5 MTPA), Rolling Mill (0.6 MTPA), Coal Gasifier for Rolling Mill (4,680 NM³/Hr.), Ferro Alloys Briquetting Plant (200 Kg/Hr.), Coal Washery (0.6 MTPA), WHRB Power Plants (DRI-30 MW, Blast Furnace-20 MW, Coke Oven-30 MW), FBC-based Power Plant (20 MW), and a Brick Manufacturing Unit (39,600 Bricks/Day).
