Environmental clearance is being sought for the 500-hectare Bommanalli Limestone Mine Block located in Bommanhalli and Kardal Villages, Chittapur Taluk, Kalaburagi District, Karnataka. The mine block was allocated to M/s. The Ramco Cements Limited through e-auction, with a Letter of Intent (LOI) issued by the Government of Karnataka. The proposed project aims for a production capacity of 4.0 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of limestone.
