Adani Power Limited, through its subsidiary Korba Power Limited, is seeking environmental clearance for the revival of the environmental clearance for its expansion project. The project involves the expansion of the existing 600 MW (2×300) Super Critical Coal Based Thermal Power Plant by 1320 MW (2×660). Located at Village Pathadi, District Korba, Chhattisgarh, the expansion has already seen more than 75% of the construction activities completed.
