NTPC, RVUNL Form JV to Co-Own 230 MW Chhabra Thermal Plant

NTPC and Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam (RVUNL) have formed a joint venture to co-own the 230 MW Chhabra Thermal Power Plant in Rajasthan. The partnership establishes a 50:50 ownership split between the two entities. RVUNL currently operates the larger 2,320 MW plant at Chhabra, with this strategic collaboration expanding their footprint in the region’s energy sector.
