GESCOM tenders for solarization of agriculture feeders in Karnataka

Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company (GESCOM) has issued a tender for solar power generators (SPGs) to commission grid-connected solar power plants for the solarization of agriculture feeders in Kalaburagi, Karnataka. The project covers 44 agriculture feeders across 10 substations with a total capacity of 43 MW, benefiting 14,143 irrigation pumps. The contract, valued at ?566.9 crore, will be executed on a Build, Own & Operate (BOO) basis. Bids must be submitted by December 16, 2024.
