Bihar CM Launches ?276 Crore Development Projects in Vaishali

During his ‘Pragati Yatra’ in Vaishali district, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated 344 development projects totaling over ?276.8 crore. He announced plans for a large industrial park on 1,293 acres along the Amas-Darbhanga Road six-lane highway, a new degree college in Goraul to enhance local higher education access, and infrastructure improvements including a dam on the Gandak river to mitigate flooding in Hajipur, dredging of the Vaya river to prevent floods in eight blocks, and a drainage system in Hajipur town to address waterlogging. Additionally, the Barela lake bird sanctuary will undergo development to boost tourism and fisheries.
