Reliance to acquire Lakadia B Power Transmission for Rs 80 million

Reliance Industries Limited will acquire a 100% equity stake in Lakadia B Power Transmission from RECPDCL for Rs 80 million. The project involves developing an interstate transmission system to evacuate up to 3.5 GW of renewable energy from Lakadia, Gujarat. Reliance will design, construct, test, and commission the system, operating it on a build, own, operate, and transfer basis, while also managing financing, clearances, permits, and land compensation. Commercial operations are yet to commence.
