Maruti Suzuki to Invest Rs. 35,000 Crore in New Plant in Gujarat

Maruti Suzuki India plans to establish its second car manufacturing plant in Gujarat with a capacity to produce 1 million cars annually. The company’s parent, Suzuki Motor Corporation, has committed a capital infusion of Rs. 35,000 crore for the project. However, the land acquisition for the facility is still pending. The announcement was made during the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.
