Sun Petrochemicals to Develop 3 Pumped Storage Hydropower Projects in Telangana

Sun Petrochemicals Private Limited

Sun Petrochemicals has announced plans to develop three pumped storage hydropower projects in Nagarkurnool, Mancherial, and Mulugu districts of Telangana. The combined capacity of the projects will be 3,400 MW, and they will be integrated with downstream solar power plants generating 5,440 MW. The Telangana government and Sun Petrochemicals recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance these projects.
