Environmental clearance for sugar and distillery expansion in Vijayapura

Environmental clearance has been granted for the expansion of sugarcane crushing capacity from 3,500 TCD to 20,000 TCD, cogeneration plant from 18 MW to 60 MW, and distillery plant from 180 KLPD to 500 KLPD using multi-feedstock. The distillery captive power plant will also be upgraded from 3 MW to 11 MW at Yaragalla and Madari villages in Muddebihal Taluk, Vijayapura District, Karnataka.
