Dhanbad to get six-lane bypass extension, elevated road

Ministry of Road Transport and Highway has sanctioned Rs 1,130.54 crore project to extend the six-lane bypass with an elevated road on NH-19 between Govindpur and Nirsa in Dhanbad district. The current alignment of NH-19, also known as GT Road and NH-02, passes through congested areas, creating traffic bottlenecks. This new bypass will ease congestion and improve traffic flow. The 20-km stretch will feature a six-lane extension and an elevated road, enhancing connectivity and reducing delays.
