Waaree Energies starts 1.4 GW solar cell production in Gujarat

Waaree Energies has begun commercial production at its 1.4 GW Mono PERC solar cell manufacturing facility in Chikhli, Gujarat. This is the first phase of India’s largest solar cell manufacturing unit, with plans to expand capacity to 5.4 GW, including 4 GW of high-efficiency TOPCon solar cells in the next phase.
