Vedanta’s to setup greenfield Aluminium Smelter in Rayagada

The high-level clearance authority (HLCA) of the Odisha government has recently approved Vedanta Ltd’s Rs. 40,991 crore investment to establish a 1.2 MTPA greenfield aluminium smelter in Rayagada. The project will contribute to the aluminium sector’s expansion and create significant employment opportunities.
