Larsen & Toubro’s Buildings & Factories (B&F) vertical has clinched a significant order from the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, under the PMSSY division. The project encompasses the construction of a 720-bed hospital, a 150-bed Infectious Diseases Block, a 30-bed AYUSH Block, a 150-seat medical college, a nursing college, a 750-seater auditorium, as well as hostel and residential facilities. With a timeline of 33 months, the project spans a total built-up area of 2.1 million square feet. The scope of work includes civil structures, finishes, MEP services, and external development, including landscaping.
