15 MGD Sewage Treatment Plant Inaugurated in Mohali

Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA)

A 15 million gallons per day (MGD) sewage treatment plant has been inaugurated at Sector-83, Mohali, Punjab. Developed at a cost of Rs. 145.26 crore, the facility strengthens the state’s green infrastructure efforts by enhancing urban waste management. It is designed to recycle treated wastewater for non-potable applications, reduce environmental pollution, and improve overall public hygiene in the region.
