Madhya Pradesh launches policy to promote biofuels under 2025 Renewable Energy Policy

The Madhya Pradesh government has introduced a new policy under the 2025 Renewable Energy Policy to promote biofuels, including compressed biogas (CBG) and biodiesel. The policy provides substantial financial incentives, including capital subsidies, discounted land rates, and tax exemptions. Aiming to establish biofuel plants in each development block, it will improve agricultural waste management and generate income for farmers. This initiative supports Indias renewable energy transition while creating employment opportunities.
