Chhattisgarh signs MoU with CMAI to boost textile and apparel manufacturing

The Chhattisgarh government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) to establish the state as a textile and apparel manufacturing hub. A key part of this initiative is the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) campus in Nava Raipur, with an investment of ?271 crore. The NIFT campus will focus on skill development and design innovation, strengthening Chhattisgarh’s textile ecosystem.
