India and Saudi Arabia to set up joint oil refineries in India

India and Saudi Arabia have agreed to jointly establish two oil refineries in India to enhance energy security and address rising petroleum demand. The collaboration was finalized during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Saudi Arabia, where major investment plans were discussed. Saudi Arabia has pledged a USD 100 billion investment across sectors including energy, petrochemicals, infrastructure, fintech, and manufacturing.
