Chhattisgarh Amends Industrial Policy to Boost Investments

The Chhattisgarh government has amended its Industrial Development Policy 2024–30 to attract investments and generate employment across sectors like agriculture, textiles, tourism, and logistics. Effective from 01 November 2024, the revised policy offers incentives for industries hiring local residents, promotes modern farming, and reduces investment thresholds for hotels in Bastar and Surguja. It also proposes up to 200% incentives in textiles and plans a logistics policy to enhance freight movement, aiming to establish Chhattisgarh as a key industrial hub.
