Tata Steels Kalinganagar plant in Odisha has increased crude steel capacity from 3 MTPA to 8 MTPA. The expansion, featuring advanced technology, supports Indias Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative and sustainable steel manufacturing. The upgraded facility will produce high-grade steel for sectors including defence, automotive, infrastructure, oil & gas, and renewable energy, strengthening Indias self-reliance and competitiveness in global steel markets. The plant is among the countrys most advanced integrated steel units.
