A six-lane elevated corridor has been proposed to link Senapati Bapat Marg near Phoenix Mills with Lala Lajpatrai Road at Haji Ali, enhancing access to the Mumbai Coastal Road. Spanning 1.5 km, the viaduct is expected to cut travel time by up to 30 minutes between central Mumbai and the coastal stretch. Estimated to cost ?250–300 crore, the project avoids land acquisition and traffic disruption. It will improve connectivity to major routes and hubs like Shivaji Park and Mahim.
