YEIDA Clears Rs.8,200 Crore Solar Plant in Yamuna City

SAEL Solar P6 Private Limited

YEIDA has approved a Rs. 8,200 crore ultra mega solar project by SAEL Solar P6 Private Limited in Sector 8, near the Yamuna Expressway. The project will span 200 acres and house an integrated manufacturing facility with 5 GW each of solar cell and module production capacity. A Letter of Intent was issued on February 24, and ‘Invest UP’ granted approval on July 10. Land allotment is underway, with handover expected within this month.
