Tato-II Hydroelectric Project Receives Rs.8,146 Crore Approval

North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO)

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved Rs. 8,146.21 crore investment for the 700 MW Tato-II Hydro Electric Project in Shi Yomi, Arunachal Pradesh, to be completed in 72 months. The project consists of 4×175 MW units with an annual generation of 2,738.06 MU, boosting the national grid. It includes Rs. 458.79 crore for roads, bridges, and transmission lines, Rs. 436.13 crore as Central equity, and 32.88 km of local road and bridge development.
