Environmental clearance sought for brownfield expansion of WEG Industries India at Hosur

WEG Industries India is proposing a brownfield expansion within its existing premises at Plot No. E-20 (North), SIPCOT Industrial Complex, Phase-II, Expansion-II, Hosur, Krishnagiri District. The expansion includes setting up a test laboratory and power house on the available open land within the plant boundary, without any additional land acquisition. The total built-up area post-expansion will be 64,262.80 sq.m. The company has submitted an application for environmental clearance for this expansion.
