Centre approves widening of Hyderabad–Vijayawada NH-65 to six lanes

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)

The Central Government has approved widening of the Hyderabad–Vijayawada National Highway (NH-65) from four to six lanes over 229 km (km 40–269). The project aims to enhance road safety and reduce congestion between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Land acquisition is underway, and the upgrade will reduce travel time and improve connectivity between the two cities.
