Google to Invest USD 10 Billion in Visakhapatnam Data Centre Cluster

Google plans to invest USD 10 billion to set up a 1 GW data centre cluster across Adivivaram, Tarluvada, and Rambilli in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The project, spanning 480 acres, will include three submarine cable landings, metro fibre connectivity, and AI-focused cloud infrastructure. Operations are scheduled to begin by July 2028, subject to approvals.
