DCM Shriram Ltd. has sought environmental clearance for establishing a 2G ethanol plant with a capacity of 3.5 KLPD at Village Dudapur, Taluka Dhrangadhra, District Surendranagar, Gujarat. The demo-scale facility will produce ethanol using lignocellulosic biomass feedstock and will serve as a pilot for future biofuel production expansion in the region.
