Connectivity of Vadhavan Port to NH-8

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)

NHAI plans to develop connectivity to Vadhavan Port from NH-8 through TarapurBoisar or ChinchaniVangaon or Dahanu in Maharashtra under EPC mode, covering 34 km. Land requirement includes 606.6 Ha, all to be acquired, with progress at 3A 95%, 3D 72%, 3G 0%, 3H 0%. Environmental clearance is completed. Forest clearance is progressing with proposal submission, site visit, and REC approval done; Stage-I clearance is pending. Railway clearance is under process with concept plan, site visit, and GAD submission completed; final approval pending. Wildlife clearance is not required, and Waterway clearance is not required.
