Expansion of Sanu-II Limestone Mining Project at Jaisalmer

Rajasthan State Mines & Minerals has proposed expansion of the Sanu-II Limestone Mining Project (M.L. No. 01/1997) covering a lease area of 998.4 ha near Villages Joga and Sonu, Tehsil Ramgarh, District Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The proposal involves enhancement of mine material handling capacity from 2.73 million TPA to 10.23 million TPA, comprising ROM SMS grade limestone of 2.73 million TPA, cement grade limestone of 5 million TPA, and recovery of 2.5 million TPA from old backfilled limestone reject dumps (0–30 mm size). The project also includes crushing units of 300 TPH and 200 TPH and four screening plants of 250 TPH each.
