Rajasthan to Become India’s Largest Cement Producer by 2029

Rajasthan is set to surpass Andhra Pradesh as India’s top cement-producing state with six new plants worth Rs. 17,000 crore being established in Jaisalmer between 2026 and 2029. The new units will add 16 million tonnes of capacity, supported by secured limestone leases, boosting the state’s total installed capacity beyond 62 million tonnes.
