Railways Sector News India
National Capital Region Transport Corporation has submitted a draft detailed project report to the Haryana government for the proposed GurugramGreater Noida RRTS corridor, with an estimated project cost of ?15,000 crore. The corridor is designed to significantly reduce travel time, cutting journeys from IFFCO Chowk to Faridabad to 22 minutes and to Noida to 38 minutes. The alignment is proposed as an elevated corridor, though the Haryana government has suggested an underground option within Gurugram due to dense urbanisation and land constraints. Alignment and station locations remain under discussion.
