Ferro Alloys Plant Expansion to 1,25,000 TPA with Addition of 2×16.5 MVA SAF

Expansion of a ferro alloys plant has been proposed through installation of 2 × 16.5 MVA Submerged Arc Furnaces (SAFs) in addition to the existing 1 × 12.5 MVA and 1 × 9 MVA SAFs. The expansion will increase total production capacity from 78,700 TPA to 1,25,000 TPA and introduce new products including Pig Iron and Low-Carbon Ferro Chrome (LC Fe-Cr), while continuing the existing product mix. The entire augmentation is planned within the existing premises without additional land acquisition and is currently under environmental clearance appraisal.
