Lincoln Electric Company (India) has proposed expansion of its existing Metal Inert Gas (MIG) wire and Submerged Arc Wire (SAW) manufacturing unit with addition of flux facilities at Mahindra World City Developers Industrial Park, Village Anjur, Taluk Chengalpattu, District Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu. The project is undergoing environmental clearance appraisal.
