West Bengal lays foundation stone for Gangasagar Setu

Larsen and Toubro

The West Bengal government has laid the foundation stone for the four-lane Gangasagar Setu over the Muriganga river to connect Sagar Island with the mainland. The 5-km bridge project, costing Rs 1,670 crore, will be executed by Larsen & Toubro and is targeted for completion within two to three years.
