MMRDA Receives Three Bids for 38-km Metro Line 14 Revised DPR

MMRDA has received consultancy bids from three firmsSMEC, Tata Consulting Engineers, and RITESto revise the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the proposed Metro Line 14 connecting Kanjurmarg and Badlapur. Following a lack of private participation under the initial PPP framework, the authority is transitioning the ?18,000 crore project to an EPC model supported by institutional debt. The alignment includes a 5.7-km Thane Creek crossing, 15 stations, and a 20-hectare depot in Badlapur.
