Tata Steel to Invest ?11,000 Crore in Jamshedpur for Advanced Low-Carbon Steel Facilities

Tata Steel will invest Rs. 11,000 crore in Jamshedpur to develop advanced low-carbon steel facilities by 2030. The project includes Rs. 7,000 crore for HISARNA and EASyMelt technologies to reduce emissions by up to 80% and 50%, along with Rs. 1,500 crore for a Combi Mill and Rs. 2,600 crore for tinplate expansion. The initiative will establish a 1 MTPA commercial-scale facility using domestic raw materials to enhance cost efficiency and global competitiveness.
