Solar Defence to invest Rs. 12,800 crore in Nagpur facility

Solar Defence and Aerospace plans to establish advanced manufacturing facilities for drones, robotics, and missile systems in Nagpur. The project, to be executed over 3–4 years, will have annual capacity of 10,000 drones and 1,000 robots. The AI-driven Industry 5.0 ecosystem will focus on advanced UAV platforms including MALE drones, strengthening defence manufacturing capabilities.
