BMC plans PPP helipad infrastructure for emergency services

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation is coming up with the development of two helipads for emergency medical evacuation services under the PPP model. One facility will be located at Worli along the Coastal Road while the second helipad is planned at Charkop in Kandivali. The contract for the operation and maintenance of the helipad at Worli was awarded to the Raymond Group in early 2026.
