OPG Power secures 175 MW BESS project approval

OPG Power Generation Private Limited

OPG Power Generation proposal has been approved for a 175 MW standalone BESS project in Tamil Nadu. Developed under a 12–15 year BOT model, the system will enable storage and discharge of renewable energy to improve grid stability. The project supports integration of surplus green power into the grid and is backed by government incentives to strengthen the state’s renewable energy infrastructure.
