Government Approval Paves the Way for SJVN’s 8,778 MW Hydro and Renewable Ventures

State-owned power producer SJVN Ltd has secured government approval to establish four joint venture firms for developing hydro and renewable projects totaling 8,778 MW in India and Nepal. In these ventures, SJVN will lead three joint venture companies, while its subsidiary, SJVN Green Energy Ltd (SGEL), will spearhead the fourth. The projects include partnerships with Maharashtra State Power Generation Company, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Navyuga Engineering Company, Nepal Electricity Authority, and GMR Energy Limited, showcasing SJVN’s commitment to expanding its presence in diverse energy sectors.
